Our platform partner
Powered
by Marstek.
Every Janarix system is built on a Marstek platform, one of Europe's leading plug-in home battery brands, now in the Philippines. This page explains who they are, what we saw at their factory, what we do with their equipment, and exactly who is responsible for what.

Janarix Energy Solutions is now powered by Marstek.
We have chosen Marstek as the platform behind every system we build: for homes, for businesses that rent, and for businesses that own their roof.
We could have bought unbranded battery racks, as most installers in the region do. We chose not to. When your power depends on a battery for the next ten years, the name on that battery matters, because a name is something you can check, hold to a warranty, and call when something goes wrong. Marstek is a manufacturer with a public record, an engineering department, and an international reputation to protect. That is the whole point.
What does not change: Janarix designs your system, installs it, commissions it, services it, and answers the phone. Marstek makes the platform. Both names are on your project, and we are happy to be judged on both.
The company
Who Marstek is.
Marstek Energy is an energy-storage manufacturer that has been building batteries since 2009 and launched the MARSTEK brand in 2020. The name is MARS and TEK, Mars, and technology.
What makes them unusual for their class is that they are vertically integrated: they develop their own lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, design their own inverters and battery management, and run their own manufacturing, rather than assembling other people's parts. That is why a Marstek unit arrives as one sealed, finished product instead of a wall of separate components, and it is the single biggest reason we build on their platforms.
Their home-storage products are organised into families named after planets, MARS, VENUS, JUPITER, SATURN and MERCURY. Three of them are the backbone of every Janarix system.
- Their own LFP cells. Lithium iron phosphate, the chemistry chosen for home storage because it is the most thermally stable and the longest-lived.
- More than 400 R&D engineers. A real engineering department, not a badge on someone else's product.
- Factory-integrated systems. Battery, inverter, management and enclosure engineered together and sealed to IP65 so it can sit outdoors.
- One app, worldwide. The same Marstek app monitors a unit in La Union from Manila, Dubai or Los Angeles.
- Design that has been judged. Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025 for the SATURN-C B2500, and an iF Design Award 2026 for the VENUS E.

How we choose a partner
We only build on equipment we can stand behind.
Janarix does not switch suppliers to chase a cheaper month. We pick a platform, learn it properly, source it directly, and build the company on it. A decision like that is only as good as the manufacturer behind it, so we set the bar before we went looking.
Test one
It builds its own
Cells, inverter and battery management developed and manufactured in house, rather than assembled from whatever was cheapest that quarter.
Test two
There is a record to check
Published figures, real trade shows, awards judged by people outside the company. Things you can look up without taking our word for any of it.
Test three
It sells where the rules are hard
Scale in a market whose grid and safety standards are strict enough that failing them means not being allowed to sell at all.
Marstek cleared all three, and the third one is why it won.
Europe is its largest home battery market. European grid and safety rules are among the strictest anywhere, certification is slow and expensive, and a product that cannot satisfy them simply does not get on sale. Nearly 300,000 units went out across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France in the first eight months of 2025. That is a lot of houses in places where the paperwork is unforgiving.
Behind that is a manufacturer that makes its own lithium iron phosphate cells, designs its own inverters and battery management, and runs its own factories in Asia with an engineering department of more than 400 people. Owning the whole stack is why a Marstek unit arrives as one sealed, finished product instead of a wall of parts from four suppliers, and it is why we can get a replacement for it.
We are still looking.
Marstek is the platform we build on today, not a marriage. We keep putting other manufacturers through the same three tests, and when one of them turns out to be the better answer for a particular job, we will say so and we will fit it. Our loyalty is to the equipment being right, and to being able to service it in year eight.
What we will not do is put a name on your roof that we cannot look up, cannot get parts for, or cannot stand behind when you call.
What we saw ourselves
Then we went to the factory.
Published figures and award stickers are worth something, but they are a record of what other people concluded. So when Marstek opened its production lines to the partners it works with, for the Global Summit it runs for dealers, we went and watched the units being made.
On the line
Coat, cap, and inside
You do not get into a working production area in street clothes, and we did not see it through a window. We followed the build from parts to a finished, boxed unit. When we say we know how a Marstek battery goes together, it is because we stood there while it went together.
The part that stayed with us
How much of it is checking
The quality control was stricter than we expected, and there is more of it than you would guess: a real share of the process is testing rather than building. For a sealed box that has to sit on a wall for a decade, that ratio is the whole argument.
What it settled
We stopped looking
A specification sheet is written by the marketing department. A production floor is not. Seeing it is the reason we stopped comparing brands and committed to learning one platform properly, which is what you are buying when you buy our work.
Why this is on the page
Everywhere else on this site we ask you to check what we claim. This is the one thing you cannot check yourself, so it is worth being precise about what it is: we are telling you we went, we watched, and what we saw was good enough to build a business on. Ask us about it at the assessment and we will tell you what we saw, including anything that surprised us.

What we actually install
Three platforms. Everything we build.
Janarix does not stock a catalogue. We build on three Marstek platforms, each chosen because it is the honest best answer to one job, and we will tell you plainly when a cheaper one of ours is the right call.
Marstek · Venus E 3.0
The plug-in battery
5.12 kWh of LFP storage with its own 2.5 kW inverter inside, sealed to IP65 and quieter than a conversation. Plugs in, no roof works, no landlord permission. Switches over in about 20 milliseconds, so freezers and tills never notice.
In our line-up: Janarix Business Backup 5, for the business that rents.
Marstek · V6000
The whole-home platform
15 kWh of battery and a 6 kW pure sine wave inverter (12 kW peak) in one sealed outdoor cabinet, with two solar inputs accepting up to 9 kW of panels. Expands to 90 kWh; up to six units run in parallel.
In our line-up: JANARIX 15 · 30 · 45.
Marstek · Mars I Plus
The modular hybrid
A hybrid inverter with battery packs that stack in 5.12 kWh steps, a generator input for long outages, and emergency switchover in under 10 milliseconds. Built for premises where a stopped motor costs real money.
In our line-up: Janarix commercial and industrial systems, by proposal only.
How we size it.
Within each Janarix system the battery is fixed and the solar array is engineered to your roof, your orientation and your actual consumption at the assessment. That is why our systems are named after the battery, 15, 30, 45, and not after a panel count.
The practical part
What the partnership gives you.
Where Marstek ends and Janarix begins, stated plainly.
- A battery with a name on it. You can look up the manufacturer, read its specifications, and check its record. You cannot do that with an unbranded rack, and the difference shows up in year four, not week one.
- A replacement warranty, not a repair one. Within its terms a defective unit is swapped rather than opened up in your garden. Your exact term is printed in your proposal, and you never chase a factory. You call Janarix, and we handle it.
- A direct line to replacements. We work directly with Marstek and its official Philippine distributor, so a unit that has to be replaced is arranged through us rather than chased by you.
The equipment
Marstek makes the battery, the inverter, the management system and the enclosure, publishes the warranty, and supplies the units. You buy them from Marstek or its official Philippine distributor.
Everything around it
Janarix works out what you need, specifies it, installs it, commissions it, files the papers, services it, and answers the phone. That is what you engage us for.
Fair questions
What people ask us.
European grid and safety standards are among the strictest anywhere. Marstek develops its own cells and electronics, makes them in its own factories in Asia, and sells most of its home batteries in Europe. Selling at that scale there means clearing those standards, year after year, on the same platform we install here. That is what we were buying when we chose it.
It gets replaced, not opened up. Marstek's cover on the platforms we install is a replacement warranty: within its terms, a unit with a manufacturing defect is swapped for a working one rather than repaired in the field. Your exact term is printed in your proposal.
You never deal with the factory. You call Janarix, we raise it with Marstek and its official Philippine distributor, and the replacement comes through us.
The platforms use standard LFP chemistry and standard electrical connections, and we deal directly with Marstek and its official Philippine distributor rather than through a chain of resellers. This is one of the reasons we build on a manufacturer with a public record rather than on unbranded racks.
Ask at your consultation. We arrange visits to running installations where the owner has agreed, and there is a partner-demonstration programme for businesses.
