Privacy policy
What we do with the details you send us, in plain language. This website runs no analytics and no advertising trackers.
Last updated 12 September 2026
This policy explains what Janarix Energy Solutions does with personal information collected through this website, and what your rights are under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines.
It is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
What information we collect
We only hold information you choose to give us, plus the ordinary technical information any website receives when a page is requested.
Information you send us
When you use the consultation form on this website, we receive the details you enter into it: your name, your mobile number, your email address if you give one, your town or city, the type of system you are asking about, and anything you write in the details box.
If you contact us instead by phone, text, email, or Facebook Messenger, we receive whatever you send through that channel.
Information received automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request, such as the IP address the request came from, the type of browser and device used, and which page was requested. This is generated by the hosting infrastructure rather than collected by us, and it is used for delivering the site, security, and diagnosing faults.
What we do not do
This website does not run analytics software, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking pixels. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not track you across other websites.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
It uses one small piece of ordinary browser storage for a single purpose: to remember that you closed the announcement notice, so that it does not reappear on every page you open. That information stays in your own browser, is not sent to us or to anyone else, and identifies nobody. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Because we do not set tracking or advertising cookies, there is no consent banner on this site. If that ever changes — if we add analytics, for example — this page will be updated first and consent will be requested before any such technology is used.
How we use your information
We use the details you send us to:
- reply to your enquiry;
- arrange and carry out a site assessment;
- prepare and send you a written proposal or quotation;
- deliver, install, and support a system if you go ahead;
- keep the records a business is required to keep.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or trade it. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quotation.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), personal information may be processed where the person has consented, where it is necessary to take steps at that person's request before entering into a contract or to perform one, where it is required by law, or where there is a legitimate interest that does not override the person's rights.
Sending us an enquiry through this website is a request for us to respond to you, and responding is why we hold what you sent.
Who else may see it
We use a small number of ordinary service providers to run this website and our business. They may handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- Our website host. This site is hosted on Netlify, which serves the pages and receives form submissions on our behalf.
- Email and messaging providers. Enquiries reach us through standard email and, where you choose to use it, Facebook Messenger.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces used on this site are served by Google. Your browser requests them from Google's servers when a page loads, which means Google receives the request in the ordinary way that any request for a file is received.
If you contact us through Facebook or Instagram, that conversation also sits with the platform you used, under that platform's own privacy policy.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, for example in response to a lawful order.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as is useful for the purpose you sent them, and for as long as we are required to keep business records afterwards.
Records tied to work we actually carried out — assessments, proposals, installations, and after-sales support — are kept for longer than a general enquiry, because warranty and service obligations depend on them.
You can ask us to delete your details sooner. See the section on your rights below.
How it is protected
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so information sent through the form is encrypted in transit.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to it to the people who need it to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security, but we will tell affected people and the National Privacy Commission if a breach occurs that requires it.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal information is handled;
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- object to processing, or withdraw consent you previously gave;
- have your information erased or blocked in the circumstances the law allows;
- be given a copy of your information in a portable form;
- seek redress, and to complain to the National Privacy Commission.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request, so that we are not handing someone's information to the wrong person.
Children
This website is aimed at homeowners and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to websites we do not control, including manufacturer data sheets and our own pages on social platforms. This policy does not cover those sites. Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of the site you land on applies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or the business changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects how your information is handled, we will make that clear rather than quietly editing the text.
